Welcome to PAEC
Proviso Area for Exceptional Children (PAEC) is a Special Education Cooperative Joint Agreement (SEJA #803) which provides child diagnostic services and special treatment programs/services for students with disabilities ages three through the day before their twenty-second birthday. PAEC also provides research based early intervention for identified general education students at risk with academic and/or behavior deficits. We provide these services for students in our member districts of: District #87 (Berkeley), District #88 (Bellwood), District #92 (Broadview), District #93 (Hillside) and District #209 (Maywood).
